Pilgrimage to Knock - September 2006
27 parishioners travelled with Fr Pat to Knock in the west of Ireland on pilgrimage to Our Lady’s shrine as part of the 75th Anniversary celebrations. The place is one of great beauty and was at its best in the sunshine. The shrine itself is set in a beautiful place and it is easy to feel a great peace and sense of spirituality there. Pilgrimage is not only about the prayers and services, important though they are, but getting to know the other pilgrims better was a joy, even though we have known each other over many years.
