The Hospital Chaplaincy is an Ecumenical Chaplaincy of which Fr Peter is part of, assisted by Fr Bernard, Fr Geoff O'Grady, Fr Chris McCurry and Fr Paul Lomas.

Chaplaincy Volunteers visit each patient at least once a week and there are three Eucharistic Ministers commissioned to bring Holy Communion to patients. If you know of someone who would like Holy Communion in either Stepping Hill or The Meadows Nursing Home in Offerton then call the chaplaincy on 0161 419 5889 and leave the name of the patient and Ward number.

Communions are normally taken on Wednesday or Thursday. If someone would like to see a priest then ring the above number  and leave the details as above for Communion. If a priest is needed urgently ask the nurse in charge to call the priest on call via the hospital switchboard.

If at all possible please avoid calling between 11 00 p.m. and 07 00 a.m.
